Who is responsible
Dose Club runs The Dose Club at doseclub.co.uk and is the data controller for any personal data the site processes. The site is a non-profit information project.
What reading the site collects
Nothing from the site itself. The pages are static files. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no embedded social widget and no cookie set by the site.
The hosting provider, Vercel, serves the files and keeps standard server logs of requests, which include IP addresses, for security and traffic management. Those logs are the host's and are kept under the host's own retention policy.
Photographs on the guide pages load from images.unsplash.com. Your browser sends a request to Unsplash for each image, so Unsplash sees your IP address and browser details in the same way as any image host. The Unsplash privacy policy covers that request.
The club sign-up
The club is free email membership for price-drop alerts and a monthly savings email. When the sign-up is live it stores three things: the email address you give, the topics you tick and the date you joined. It uses double opt-in, so nothing is kept until you confirm from your inbox. There is no paid tier and no marketing from pharmacies or clinics.
Every club email carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your record. The email provider used to send the messages is named on this page when the sign-up goes live, along with where the data is stored.
The calculators
The four calculators on the site run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent anywhere.
Links to other sites
Price pages link to pharmacies, and guides link to clinics, retailers and the NHS. Once you follow a link you are on that organisation's site and its privacy notice applies. The Dose Club does not pass your details to any of them. Some pharmacy offer links carry a referral tag, which tells the pharmacy which site the visit came from. The tag identifies the link, not you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data an organisation holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. For the club, unsubscribing is the quickest way to delete your record.
Changes
This notice changes when the site's data handling changes, for example when the club sign-up goes live. The date at the top of the page is the date of the last change.

Questions people ask
Does the site use cookies?
The site sets no cookies. The hosting provider may set a technical cookie on preview deployments, which are not public. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.
Which third parties see my visit?
The hosting provider, Vercel, serves the pages and keeps standard server logs. Photographs load from images.unsplash.com, so Unsplash receives your IP address and browser details for each image, as any image host would. Nothing else loads from outside the site.
What does the club sign-up store?
When the sign-up is live it stores the email address you give, the topics you tick and the date you joined. It is double opt-in, so nothing is stored until you confirm from your inbox. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record.
How do I ask for my data to be deleted?
Unsubscribe from any club email and the record is deleted. For anything else, write to the contact address published on the site and name the email address concerned.
Do you share data with pharmacies or clinics?
No. The site passes nothing to any provider. When you click through to a pharmacy or clinic, you leave this site and their privacy notice applies.
