Prepayment certificate calculator
Enter the number of prescription items you pay for each month and the months you expect to keep paying. The prepayment certificate calculator compares paying £9.90 an item against three-month certificates at £32.05 and the 12-month certificate at £114.50, and names the cheapest option with the saving in pounds.
Weight loss medicine yearly cost calculator
Pick Mounjaro, Wegovy, the Wegovy pill or Foundayo, pick the dose you expect to stay on and the number of months. The yearly cost calculator uses the cheapest first order price for the first month and the cheapest ongoing price after that, names the pharmacy and GPhC number behind each figure, and shows the market median for comparison.
Hospital travel refund checker
Answer five questions about your appointment, your benefits and your journey. The travel refund checker tells you whether you meet the conditions of the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme and what to take to the hospital cashier or put on form HC5(T).
NHS vs private dental cost checker
Choose the treatment and, if you have one, type in the private quote. The dental cost checker shows the NHS band charge in England from 1 April 2026 next to your quote and the difference between them.
How the calculators are checked
Each calculator carries the charges or prices it uses inside the page, with the date they were checked, so a result can be traced to its source. The worked example on each calculator page was checked by hand against the same figures. When a charge changes the page is rebuilt and the example re-checked.

Questions people ask
Do the calculators store what I type?
No. Each calculator is a small script on the page. The numbers you enter stay in your browser and are not sent to this site or anyone else.
Which nation do the NHS figures apply to?
England. Prescriptions are free in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and dental charges differ in each nation. The result text says which charges were used and when they were checked.
Where do the medicine prices in the yearly calculator come from?
From the same price index export used on the price pages. For each dose the calculator uses the cheapest first order price for month one and the cheapest ongoing price for every month after.
Can the travel checker tell me how much I will get back?
No. It tells you whether you meet the five conditions of the Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme. The amount depends on the cheapest reasonable fare for your journey, which the hospital or the NHSBSA works out from your claim.
